i'd never wrestled with a girl
the way i do with my
younger brother who's actually,

if nature had lips,
they would be soft and kind,
pink with a lil shimmer of red
and they'd taste like wild berries

it's hard to build, can be hard to destroy
life's like a lego city
built tight under a rolling pin,
and a set of size 25 nike's
...

There are times when I feel lost and I just want to concede this battle
that others call life,
when the clouds above my heavy-hung head are too deep
and the sun's beautiful warmth and light
...

When we met the skies were blue
the air was thin and tasteless,
the freedoms we knew came from outside and in
our vibrant hearts painting so loudly
...

Sitting here 'indian' style
typing the outline to a quasi-important
term paper
that i just so happen to have written
...

Life is the highway
to which i.you.he.she.they. are the car
of which is made of many things
from a to z and dirt to blings
...

There's always someone
running the lights in the background,
and when the light's on you
they're the ones to thank
...

No words however great,
however beautiful arranged
from the greatest syllable to the smallest period
from the first to the last
...
