Whoever You Are

As I sit alone,
And ponder life,
I think about,
All the strife.

I dare to dream,
And think about,
What my life could be,
But then I doubt.

The dreams are real,
The fears are true.
And I wonder why,
I can't find you.

I can see your smile,
I can see your heart.
But your pretty face,
Is a missing part.

Where are you from,
What is your name?
I don't know how,
To play this game.

I need you now,
To hold my hand.
So together we,
Can take a stand.

A stand for love,
For a protected heart.
Where you will be,
My better part.

Until you come,
I'll shed some tears,
And pray you hurry,
To calm my fears.
