Of words heard from those who talk...

The most important business,
One should keep to know it treasured...
Is belief in oneself.
And not as a commodity,

Truth can be unsettling to hear it,
When confronted with facts,
By those looking back...
With the hope that denial subtracts,

Pretense to strip,
And with it to be bitten...
By a love felt meant,
From someone that is giving...

Everyday you are near,
Here and in my heart...
To feel your presence,
As a gift to keep it celebrated.

I once crawled,
Before I learned to walk.
Hold that against me.
I once wore a diaper,
...

Long after we leave behind,
What we now perceive is significant.
Nature remains involved in evolving.
To continue on.

If only we could keep preserved,
These days of joy and merriment.
With them stored away.
To again pick them to serve.

An experienced life.
One to know it lived.
Makes little difference,
As to who disputes...

Self awareness to accept.
Has its disappointments and regrets.
To feel with time given,
When it becomes evident...
