You're too young You can't do it So?
Winters, Autumns Summers, Springs Something special each season brings
A poem about truth A poem about lies A poem about food A poem about pies
Voices around me Why do you do this? Do you find it fun?
It hurts but doesn't stop It makes you cry It makes you just want to die Pain is something we've all felt
They stand by you They care for you But might not be related to you
You see it in the distance You reach, but it's just out of your grasp You want it but it still disappears
Sitting bored I need inspiration Stuck in a state of exasperation
Drip, drip goes the bucket But again it's empty inside How can we survive if the well is dry?
Can you help me with this? Yes. Can you do this for me?
The day started at six, Brush my teeth and make them clean Do my hair, detangle and spray
In a land of peace, Imagination lies, where? Well, where else besides Your Mind?
By truck, by bus or plane By car, by boat or train All ways to get here
An Alphabet World
A world of hate, But I can see good, Could it be true? Doubt is an

You can't do it
You're a girl
That will stop you
You're not smart enough
They won't take you seriously
You don't have 'the look'
They'll turn you down
I'm old enough
I can do it
So what I'm a girl
I've gotten this far
I get good enough grades
I will be serious
Who cares what I look like?
It's the writing that counts...
