Beauty In The Sky

Beauty in the sky
Such a wonderful sight
The way it sheds all of its light
What a lovely shade a blue surrounding it all
Above us it seemed so tall
Staying up above us for most of the day
Why would it ever want to fade away?

Beauty in the sky
You’re always here
Keeping me warm and keeping me dear
You have always been by my side
Even through the long ride
With you here I’m never afraid
Stay with me and be my aid

Beauty in the sky
From blue to orange, slowly to white
What a wonderful sight
Slowly it fell
Dimming all around us as well.
The colors faded
While everything around me was quickly shaded

Beauty in the sky
Always here
But sometimes it might disappear
Leaving me in darkness for quite some time
Waiting for the light to finally climb
You can hear it’s silent threat
And it's making me upset

Beauty in the sky
Where did you go and why?
I’ll be here after night passes by
Without a word
Out come the bats, away goes the birds.
All the clouds darkened in the summer sky
To the wonderful light we say goodbye

Its dark outside
I need you to be my guide
You’ve always been here to lead the way

The darkness has faded
For a day we have all waited
Soon you shall arrive
And it's around about 5
Shades of pink and yellow have risen high
Now were back to the beautiful colors in the sky.
