Today I have come again by the river side
Where we spent together enjoying
The blissful moments fifteen years ago.
By carving, on the bark of a Peepal tree,
We wrote our names which are still shining.
You used to watch the beauty
Of sun setting in the water of the river
And ask me a million of questions
If I was too late.
But Time has changed every thing.
At present I don't know
Where and how you are.
Sitting side by side on the river bank
We used to spend the joyful moments
Even when it was twilight.
Today I try to find those days vainly.
Now those moments are mere memories.
Whenever I recall those moments,
I feel very unhappy -
My heart cries and tears roll down.
