11/03/2007 True Friend

Rating: 5.0

Life is too short to have constant fears,
When the question of trust appears.
All I ask for you to be honest with me,
I’m a true friend this you will see.

To lie to steal is wrong we know,
Ethics and morals are constantly low.
The things people do behind your back,
Good morals people surely lack.

People lie, cheat, and steal.
These traits just don’t appeal.
If you’re a person of such disgrace,
Know you can be quickly replaced.

People quickly come and go,
Honest and true ones grow,
Into people you can depend,
To be the true definition of a friend.
