269. Our Friendship Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

We've been known to each other just for some days.
You have conquered my heart within few days.
We have never met each other face to face.
Yet my heart cries in your unhappiness.

You are the rose of Spring in the garden of my heart.
You are the showers falling on my scorching heart.
You are the full moon brightening my dark night.
You are the winter sun keeping my earth warm with your light.

With the course of time everything will perish
But the friendship between our hearts will not languish.
Perhaps we two can be united never.
Yet our relationship will last forever.
