29 Poem by Tori Bachue

29

A landscape of clouds
A vision of you
My head, no longer filled with doubts
I wonder if yours cleared up too

A longing, free of gravity
A feeling, fluid like water
My eyes, that can finally See
Senses, just as clear as the latter

Turbulence sways my body
Yet my mind stays vast
For this I am no longer sorry
Even if this love will be my last

Be here tonight
Let me surrender to your embrace
I will no longer fight
If only you show me your face

I'll love you like I've never loved before
Love, let's not close this door
I'm here, with you, no matter what
I'll be the best thing you've ever had

This, I promise
These are the feelings you must acknowledge
