298. At That Dark Summer Night Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

298. At That Dark Summer Night

Rating: 4.5

At that dark summer night my darling came
To surrender herself to my lone heart
That got swollen in joy with her sacred touch.

Her holy nectar moisturised my dry lips.
The silent hymn of her devoted heart
Tranquilized my half burnt restless mind.

Her warm touch made me a lyre.
It produced an unheard melody
That awoke my drowsy soul.

Her passionate kiss and holy embrace
Carried me to the unknown...
And I felt as if I was a super human.

Taking off my corporal cloth
I became just a divine soul
With the devotion of my Love.
