.3. Inedible Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Inedible

Rating: 5.0

She put chillies in the custard
And pickles in the pies
The soup with lots of chocolates in
Gave guests a big surprise

The fish heads in the gravy
Were looking pretty mad
And special marmite soufflé
Was smelling really bad

All tried to make a joke of it
Each said they didn’t mind
Retching sounds their stomachs made
Said they we’re being kind
