.3. Killers In My Garden Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Killers In My Garden

Rating: 5.0

Killers are loose in my garden
Many are black fly and bugs
Cabbage white’s leave hungry offspring
To munch on my greens with the slugs

Snails lie in wait under fencing
They come out to dine in the night
Grubs ate the roots off my carrots
Now there’s not a carrot in sight

My ivy has strangled the tulips
They should have stood tall and bright red
The killers all bumped off my garden
And left my plants dying or dead

A light dusting took care of all my pests! Good poem, Linda
