And so heart and mind went to war
to see who had the right to rule
both believing that they could win
declaring that their cause was just

The mind focuses on reason and logic
careful evaluation of theories
wishing to know all the facts
before taking any action

The heart relies on impulse
and action without planning
always on the move
never stopping to think

And so the heart and mind went to war
to see who should rule the rest
as is normal in these kind of battles
the liver ended up paying the price
