Why does our man desire
The things that he’s not got
Why does he wear his jumper?
When outside the weathers hot
Why does he do his gardening?
The same as him next door
Why does he spend a lot of cash?
When claiming he’s so poor
Why does he chase the pretty girls?
The sort he never should
Why does he brag of things he’s done
When you know he never could
Why does he drink so much brown ale?
The excesses make him ill
Why does he say he’s got the flu?
When it’s nothing but a chill
Why does he say he’s always right?
The many times he’s wrong
Why does our man need something more?
When it’s fine to just belong
