America! What comes to mind when you here this
What do you feel when you touch it
What brings us here
So much beauty
So much poverty
So much of so much
What hasn't it got
What has it lost
What can it bring to one man
Freedom and wealth
Do you have a plan
50 states of mind
Which ones at which time

All beautiful in their own way
None the same
But it's the forgotten Americans living day by day
Has everything else got in the way
It's the people who make this country great
Were they invited
Did they turn up to late
50 states of mind
What brings America to mind
Is it the land of the free
I don't know about free
But Ive seen a lot of freezing
The heart breaks a little more
How can we change this
Let's even out the score
I try as much as I can
And I'm from down under land
I love this place as if it was my own
But is the people who make me feel at home
A new president has just been sworn in
