7 Little Crows (Part 2 Of 8) 'Betrayal' Poem by Rikki Giovani

The second is a story of Betrayal.
At this point they had been together for about three years.
Everything up to this point had been going good.
Ronnie had come home early to cook a birthday supper for his lover.
One day Ronnie came home from work to find Mike in bed with their best friend Nole.
Ronnie was extremely hurt and didn't know what to do.
He felt like these past few years had been nothing but a lie.
He didn't trust his feelings at the moment so he decided the best thing to do was to leave.
He was gone for a week, when he went back he noticed Mike's things were gone.
A note lay on the bed that they once shared.
The note said that if Ronnie had treated him better he wouldn't of cheated on him.
Ronnie didn't understand what Mike was talking about.
He always came home after his ten hour shifts and cooked dinner and cleaned the house.
Whenever Mike wanted something Ronnie always bought it.
He gave it up to him whenever he wanted it.
He had given up anything and everything just to make Mike happy.
That night he had cried himself to sleep because he couldn't understand what he had done wrong.
