A Better Place
For every silver strand of hair,
The way you smiled upon your chair,
I'm missing you from head to toe,
Your loving ways of golden glow.
For many Angels walk this land,
I felt this as I held your hand,
I looked upon your peaceful face,
You left us for a better place.
I can't forget your loving smile,
I know I wouldn't even try,
For you are with me every day,
Good memories never go away.
