The children far, and the children near
Who will read this lovely poem
Listen close what I will say
Do what ever your mummy says
For mummy is your dearest friend
And she is always there till the end,
Hip hip hip, hop hop hop
Little kid of mom and dad
Make your mummy proud of you
Make your daddy proud of you
Hip hip hip, hop hop hop
Mom and Daddy loves you too,
Hip hip hip, hop hop hop
Little kid of mom and dad
Tomorrow is your birthday eve
And this poem is your birthday gift
So sing and dance with all your friends
Enjoy your cakes, and drinks, and gifts,
The children far, and the children near
Remember me, who write you this
Shall we meet, or shall we not
I pray you all forget me not
But one day we shall ever meet.
