A Black Cat Of My Life Poem by Dr Kamran Haider Bukhari

A Black Cat Of My Life

When last time you said, Kamran!
Hold me underneath your blemished skin;
I fear you would never embrace my lips again
With your sour tears;
I wish you could come and see,
How I sleep with a haunting fear
That it would be a long life without you.
