A Brighter Life Poem by Monica Partridge

Our lives are brighter for sharing the good things
it's amazing when you see how much joy it brings
when we say a kind word with hugs from the heart
it's enough to bring smiles which is a great start
and when those hugs lead to friendship that stays
we know we found something that lasts for all days

Our smile is now worth a thousand words or more
and so often it can open up an unknown door
so that its joy is brought forth to someone we know
and all the happiness can then be released to flow
filling hearts around the world, whether far or near,
such a love that's shared is a precious gift my dear.
