A Broken Road Poem by kayleigh 2007

A broken road lies ahead
a destiny unfulfilled
so many feeling left unsaid
many thing lost along the way
so many things fallen through the cracks
lovers lost friends forgot
a broken road filled only with
empty spaces a billion stars lie in the sky
filled with untold beauty
this broken road will someday be pieces together my heart as well
but the thing that were lost will never be retrieved
for they lie to deep within me to lost never to be seen or felt for the rest of eternity

i wrote this poem because i was unsure what life has in store for me and all right now all i can think about is the things I've lost i no its not really a great poem but it means a lot to me
