A Bulbul in a lost world
Oh, My…! My…! My ……!
What is this world I woke up to?
Where has the precious emerald gone
With the enchanting scintillating bloom?
Is the soothing breeze too disappeared
Leaving no clue about fragrance it carried
I can't believe my own eyes, though
For, what ever did to the splendor enthralled my soul!
Where have all my kith and kin gone
Where are the butterflies mesmerized the grove
What ever those cables are for,
Let me have the sky, with barriers no more!
Let the sinned pay for their own deed
But, allow me please, Mighty God,
Have the precise heritage back, oh yeah,
For, I am only a bulbul, innocuous by far!
The world today is very dangerous! Because of terrorism. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks very much again Edward for your comment on the second English poem I ever wrote.

A beautiful poem of Bulbul's pensive reflection of the world. Let the sinned pay for their own deed But, allow me please, Mighty God, Have the precise heritage back, oh yeah, For, I am only a bulbul, innocuous by far!
