A Calling Poem by Barry Pook

A Calling

A little inspiration is all it took,
For me to pull things from my book,
Words that were written within my heart,
Down onto paper and onto a chart.

A very dear friend and nephew too,
Convinced me that this was what to do,
So to computer screen from pen and ink,
I turned things around and made a link.

I sit and suddenly a thought appears,
Grab biro and pad, write before anyone hears,
Then I share my feelings and devotions,
In turn people give me feedback and emotions.
