A Christmas Haiku Poem by Julie Bethany

A Christmas Haiku

Deck the halls with pain
We're tools for corporate gain
Santa Claus is dead

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Christmas is a time for cheer, especially for big businesses. They profit off of the holidays with endless christmas sales until their pockets are fatter than Old Saint Nick. I wrote this grim haiku to show what Christmas has now become, after it has been picked dry by the vultures of big business.Merry Christmas everybody.
