A Corner Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Corner

Rating: 2.0

She stood in corner
face red hot like burner
May be she was young and beginner
she looked no sinner

She looking at sky with puzzle
the sky is over cast and may dizzle
she has no answer for anything
she must know something

What all did she loose?
why at all she had to choose?
was it needed as compulsion?
who had taken such decision?

She may not find it all
she can dash against wall
can jump in see or sail through
can any one tell what is true?

She confessed it as no mistake?
he only had proved it as fake
her love was like lake
water remained calm only for love sake

no one may blame her later on
she has neither lost or won
there is some one who looks at plight
the day may end to convert it in dark night

Who will rule her mind and heart?
what will be new beginning or start?
can that be termed as betrayal?
can she wait again for spring's arrival?

Nothing has changed yet
eyes exchanged messages when they met
the rain had not made the ground wet
it was not ripe time to curse the fate

It happens when tide is not in your favor
you may desperately attempt or go for
it will prove counter productive and yield nothing
still one can not leave the hope for something

The fruits take time in ripening
There may be very good opening
Yet you may find the gap widening
This is first call for awakening

You must correct the future plan and adjust
the moment you sense the attitude unjust
it is of no use running after mirage
set correctly and efficiently manage
