A Day In The Life Poem by f. berhan kebede

when I wake
I promise to tell everyone I know how I feel
and not to hold anything back
whether they warm to it or not
feeling good so
if they don't feel from me feeling this way
we should not talk that often
then
when its late and easy to fall into bed
the alarm is set to
look out the window
staring directly in the alley
letting out a violent sneeze from its cool breeze
and thanking all of the people who are not there
for their blessing
