A Desperate Call Poem by Ipsita Mohapatra

A Desperate Call

You have been somewhere else,
Some other world.
In a utopia, and
I can feel your bliss.

But darling,
Let me tell you
That it is not real.

Come back to me, love
Close those doors forever,
To the world that is not real.

Don't you feel my love here?
Is it not enough?
This world is full of pain,
And I know you suffer in vain.

But look at me!
My love for you is written across my face.

Just look at me,
You can see my love
In the way I look at you,
Because darling I'll always love you.
