A Discovery Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

A Discovery

Rating: 5.0

Something has been brought to my attention
About my name that is noteworthy to mention
Theresa Moore… has a happening that is unique
Contain within the letters is a word that speaks

Can you see it? To me it has never been obvious
Now that I know and see, it seems a bit mysterious
Between the first and last is a emotion that appears
It has been penned in my signature for many years

Peering out at me is a word of amazing assemblage
The most loving word in the world of human language
Do you have the capacity to gather it in your heart?
A variation of the word 'amore' in a selective part

With a new radiance, I puzzle a thought of splendor
It has been there all this time; an emotion so tender
As I reflect and surmise…I think about the novelty
Hidden in my name is the essence of my true identity

I like this poem. I wonder why, but, then I like so many of your other ones too.
