A Dream's Journey Home Poem by Ronald Chapman

A Dream's Journey Home

My dream with enchanting blue tiger-eyes,
with silky black hair wrapping us
with echoes of memories and angel wings.

I long to sip your lips of grapes again.

My dream, we fly home on the magnificent,
silver-winged eagle,
vast continents and cold oceans passing beneath us.

The depths of all the seas and distance between galaxies
shall never separate our Souls.

Shining stars brighter than any diamonds, guide our way home,
Angels greet us from the other side of time.

Adorned in white robes,
we hold our love tightly flying home,
in the twilight bathing, in each other's warm love.

I wake to kiss,
your heart beating,
on the other side of time.

My dream come true,
our Souls my love, are home.
