I think there is a factory somewhere
which mass produces idiots for our society.
They build a brain individually
to work on a backward slope,
and at the end of the line,
someone inspect everyone.
This one will be a politician
and this one will be a boss.
Can you imagine it,
an assembly line of idiots
all coming off the conveyer belt!
They say that automation
is with us today.
Oh how I wish they could do
what we really need.
A conveyer line of bright sparks
to lead all the idiots away,
preferably very far away.

What a poem. My dad can not stop laughing. How come you come up with so many ideas. Love you............................................................................Risha
Yes, great idea, David. But I fear there are those out there who might believe I was one of those mass produced idiots! Fun read! Linda
Perhaps they could use the author of this clever piece as the template for their bright sparks! You have certainly ignited a smile on this reader's face! Thanks for a delicious of dollop of fun. love, Allie xxxx
Sorry I am just laughing like crazy at the lovely sensitivity motivating Melvina's comment. I think this is a riot! ! ! t x
Well, well David qute the thoughts you have my friend. Can we throw in a little positive measure here in defense of the idiots you speak of. With a little prayer and a kind helping hand, they can change. I'm sure I must have been an idiot once, somewhere way back in my past, I'm sure of it. Look at me today, what a change from negative to positive in every way. The moral of the story, there is help out there even for idiots. Like your poem though--Melvina--
Why don't they have a special one for those in Parliament, we could do with some bright sparks in there, there's no doubt about it. Ha! Great thoughts. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
