A Farewell Poem by Christopher Tye

A Farewell

A Farewell

When I have departed this earth,
Don't look back with sorrow or regret,
For I lived far longer than I should have,
And probably achieved far more than I should have.

Look back at my life with fondness,
For I had a decent innings by the end,
Think of what I managed to achieve,
And be comforted with the thought that,
I am in a better place now where all are equals.
