A Final Emancipation Poem by Sanjib Das

A Final Emancipation

Rating: 5.0

Your tortured and battered soul goes to Heaven for peace,
You get the Heavenly bliss.
You sit beside Jesus,
You are full of gracious.

In your childhood, your father beat you ruthlessly,
You cried relentlessly.
You kept yourself in a corner,
You had to perform as a role of entertainer.

You were the leader of five-band,
When you performed, all raised their hand.
At your prime time you did everything,
The world felt amazing.

In childhood by your father, later the admirer,
In your living time you were a prisoner.
When you bade adieu in this vale of tear,
Your bondage soul became liberated for ever.

Michael, you never present any reality show,
Your soul gets Heavenly glow.
Now you are a Venus in the star-studded sky,
We, your admirer, look in a sigh.

You are in your eternal sleep,
We do nothing only peep.
Death puts its icy hand on you,
The Mother World really loves you.

On your burial it should inscribe:
' Here one lies whose name
Writ in human heart till doomsday.'
