A Lament For Love Poem by Sanjib Das

A Lament For Love

Rating: 5.0

O Love! O Life! O Time!
On whose last steps I climb,
Shaking at what where I had stood before;
When will return the glory of your prime?
No more - oh, never more

Out of the day after day
A sense of love has taken flight:
Fresh morning, and evening, and night hoar
Move my faint heart with grief, but with delight
No more - oh, never more!

Very well written poem as usual =) It's very touching, but you ought to remember that when everything might seem lost, when you least expect it it will come back to you. Beautiful piece as always, you are a great writer.

I really like this one. It reminds me of Edgar Allen Poe's poem. The first two lines are especailly memorable.
