A Flower To Auroville Mother-102 Poem by Indira Renganathan

A Flower To Auroville Mother-102

Masipachchai, Mugwort, Indian Wormwood,
(Artemisia indica var. nepalensis, Artemisia asiatica)

Fertile green festive and favourite
Much matter the leaves of 'Masipachai'
Variegated lot of Artemesia-delight
But temple gods' most coveted is'Masipachai'

Short stalked leaves fragrant and sweet
Medicated my garden scenting sanative
shrubby perennial, with dark green treat
Buddy flora yellowish pale such formative

With the hundred and one in strung zest
In enchanting bliss with the following
Monitor o'Pachai enlaced with the rest
To make all a garland in divine touching
