A Flying Bird Poem by Qinling Wang

A Flying Bird

Rating: 4.5

Look, a bird, a flying bird!
He flaps his wings, blowing wind,
To flee from the world.
He draws a cross in air above the field.

Oh, that bird!
Why does he circle and hesitate?
Is he not willing to leave his land?
Or does he suffer being wounded?

He flies day and night,
Must be completely tired.
But he is going to have no rest.
The bird
Is fascinated by bright light.

He flaps his wings, blowing wind, s he not willing to leave his land? Or does he suffer being wounded? The bird fascinated by light.. I take this bird as a symbol of everyone of us. We all want to fly away from this world when we see the killings And atrocities now.. but the eternal light attracts us and ask us to live here and change the world And make it a world of love and goodness. Thank you dear poet for this lovely poem. tony
