A Frozen Bloodstream Poem by Paolo Mikel Moro

A Frozen Bloodstream

In the dawn of winter, the coldness concede
the warmth of the sun starts to recede
and glaciers begins to form from any of liquid
freezing any concentration from basic to acid

And a blade comes to shred a temporal vessel
and ends a constant course of day to day travel
A man who sits alone under the freezing willow
nothing to eat, and broken under the falling snow

Who would have thought he would take his own life
leaving the world behind by a razor or a knife
his body was lying and his eyes were wide open
A man who carried the most heaviest burden

At the midst of the ground where his heart lies
beating slower every minute, slowly closing his eyes
his visions are fading, and from the sky shows a gleam
A man who wished for more died with his frozen bloodstream
