A Gift You Can't Refuse
Will I in this lovely summer day
Write words that darken
Your time, waste away?
My choice is to enlighten!
Will I in this brief and finite life
Write words that burden
Your mind, filled with strife?
My choice is to brighten!
Words may not be enough
For a distant embrace
Friend, do not give up,
God is amazing in Grace!
I will to pray for you
That's a gift you can't refuse,
Whatever you go through -
Prayer has eternal values!
'Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart,
but the pleasantness of a friend springs from his earnest counsel.'
(Proverbs 27: 9)
