A Good Friend She Was

A good friend she was
Would be there for me
Through ups or downs
A good friend she was.

A good friend she was
We laughed and had fun
Her smile was the best
A good friend she was.

A good friend she was
Her caring was amazing
Her love of life showed
A good friend she was.

A good friend she was
Kept her spirits up in pain
Never showed her hurts
A good friend she was.

A good friend she was
Even up until the end
Put my hand on her heart
A good friend she was.

A good friend she was
I will treasure the memories
Of all the joy we shared
A good friend she was.

*Dedicated to my very best friend Maryann whose spirit lives on because you really can't destroy goodness

    A good friend she was
    I will treasure the memories
Of all the joy we shared
A good friend she was.....................true love does exist in all time and space
as the matrix of love webbed in chord of heaven, wonderful tribute to friend by reminiscence, utterly passionate gleaning tears to eyes, wrought superbly by imagery,10++, thanks for sharing (Report) Reply

She sounds like a true friend, Connie.
Loved ones never die as long as we remember them.
    This is a lovely dedication.

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Young Love lies sleeping
In May-time of the year,
Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
White doves come building there:
