A Happening New Year

It's gonna be a happening New Year
I can feel it in my heart
A fresh beginning in a commitment to prayer
For that's the best place to start
A spirit of thanksgiving
For God ."How Great Thou Art! "

With more desire to share the Word
Which is the true "chain breaker"
When upon repentance and belief in Christ
We come to know our Maker!
And enjoy the "abundant life" that Jesus came to give
So call upon the Lord today and live my brother live!

Make it a happening New Year
Resolve yourself to pray
Might just be the beginning of
Your time with God each day
A prayer of faith is powerful
It could lead to your better end
I pray God's blessings for a happening New Year
In Jesus name...Amen!
