A Lot Poem by Gary James Smith

A Lot

Rating: 5.0

A Lot

A lot of foolish words I've said
A lot of foolish things I've done
But the wisest thing I ever did
Was to trust in God's dear Son
The debt He paid for sin I owed
Praise God I'm now sin-debt free
Hallelujah my Redeemer lives!
And shall for all eternity

When He arose I arose
My new born identification
That same Spirit that raised Him up
Part and parcel of my Salvation
Not one thing can separate us
I'm the Lord's and He is mine
With an absolute authority
We're now both one of a kind

Don't let sin hold you back
From your divine inheritance
Confess your waywardness to God
Come in genuine repentance
He has what money cannot buy
He's paid with His precious blood
Find your true Salvation in Him
Then my friend...you'll find your God!

There's a Word that makes it plain
How to find your Deity
The Author and Finisher of our faith
The Lord Jesus Christ is He
Don't let Satan draw you in
To his many rabbit trails
Seek ye the Lord while He may be found
And you'll find that He never fails!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
