A HAPPY DIWALI TO ALL!
This coming Saturday India celebrates the
Festival of Light,
In some parts of the country it extends for
a fortnight!
And as the legend goes, many centuries ago,
The people of Ayodhaya had lit up their city
with light,
To welcome Rama back after his fourteen year’s
exile! @
And should this season of Autumn with its veil
of mist,
Cover the light of stars amongst our very midst!
Let our lamps shine bright than those twinkling
stars,
Dispelling gloom and sorrow with lamps brighter
than stars!
Let good prevail over evil, and let knowledge
spread far and wide,
As sparklers and showering comets - light up the
Diwali night!
The visual opulence of fireworks is always a
delight!
But my ears are very sensitive to those hideous
cracker’s might!
So, I must use earplugs for my dear ear’s sake!
While I enjoy the delightful opulence giving my
hearing a break!

@ The Epic Ramayana gives a detailed account
about Lord & King Rama and how he banished evil
by killing Ravana!
**THE HUMAN EAR CAN HEAR BEST BETWEEN 5 & 20 DECIBELS!
A ROCK CONCERT GENERATES AROUND 115 DECIBLE OF SOUND!
BEYOND THAT LEVEL IT GETS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE & THE
THRESHOLD OF PAIN IS REACHED ONCE 120 DECIBLE IS CROSSED!
lovely poem raj....and thanks for wishing allof us.dewali is also for our near and dear ones, our ancestors, who are no longer with us, but we pray for their souls once in the year.it is said one year of ours is oneday for the astral beings.....that meanswe are paying homage to them every day! i enjoyed the lights, not the crackers, which has left a haze of pollution.best wishes. ritty

Dear Poet.... Its so true to dipict epic here Its a victory over evil... Let me quote here... People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, But when the darkness sets in.... Their true beauty is revealed... only if there is light from within. By - Elisabeth Kubler-Ross Lets celebrate to enhance this inner beauty. Thanks u for this loving wish.
