A Hero Poem by Ibrar Siddiqi

A hero is someone,
who never begs for recognition.

Never asks for a medal.
Just does what they do best.

May not wear a logo,
like Superman upon his chest.
Nor have a Bat phone.
Could be your Mom or Dad.
Who brought you to the person,
you are now?
They are in the back gorund
You wont see what you see,
Until they are gone.

You realise,
they were wonderful.

A hero,
do right all wrongs.
