A Hidden Blade Poem by Austin Bradford

A Hidden Blade

I didn't see it coming
If I did I would be running

A man at the door
Blood on the floor

The man held a bloodied blade
My vision slowly began to fade

My closest friend in tears
This was one of my biggest fears

The sound of police running into the house
I sat bleeding, quite as a mouse

I heard a gunshot and the man fell
Well...

It was too late for me...
Goodbye...
