A Hidden Peace Poem by Jeff Hobbs

A Hidden Peace

Rating: 5.0

For SLW

Just the time for some happiness
Every day needs some joy
Flowers or smiles or rays of hope
Finding peace in poetic decoy
Resilience in times of doubt
Even calm in stormy promise
Yes, Shakespeare
Said 'My heart is ever at your service.'
Even he knew the need
Need to know that one is cared for
Deepening and yearning
Staying through the learning
Hoping through the silence
Imagining through the reality
Staying through the void
A day like today
Demands a little token
Muses don’t work nine to five
I doubt they’re into joking
Reason flies from tired minds
A fact I see in action
Today I try to bring it back
Indeed find satisfaction
Onward, future, unveil your plan
Now I send flowers because I can.

Sunshine and flowers, the imagery is eternal summer. Praise for your positive poem. May the warmth you have expressed here last through many tomorrows. Regards, Sandra
