A Hundred Days Poem by Vera Sidhwa

A Hundred Days

Tropical City

Speak to me of flowers and sun light bright sun.
The sun that warmed up cool down alleys
Drenched in the cooled sun shine.

And I'll tell you of a hundred days
When I wished all was well
When I dreamed from a far away land.
Yes, the sun drips took me away
To monsoon rains and rain fires
In the gorgeous tropical land.
