A Hundred Words Poem by Malabika Ray Choudhury

A Hundred Words

Rating: 4.9

you wished, you would travel the world with me,
but didn't say a word,
how would I know what your thought was,
unless you opened your heart?

or may be I should have known,
looking into your eyes,
how can you tell more
not saying a hundred words?

so sorry, I should have known -
words can not tell you every feeling.
look deeper in the blue ocean of emotions,
eyes will tell you everything!

Sometimes, more than words, an expression of the eyes speak the language of the hidden thought. A marvellous poem Malabika ji. Hope this finds you well. With warm wishes for a bright year ahead.

मान गए टीचर जी आपकी जादूगरी को, भावनाओं का उल्लेख देखते बनता है मैं भी अँग्रेजी में लिखता हूँ दीवानों के मुआफिक मगर स्पेलिंग और ग्रैमर के हाथों मार खाया हुआ आप यूहीं लिखती रहें ,

Wish I could read Hindi better! I am able to read, but not very fluent. My home-language is Bengali, and I wrote a few poems in that lovely and lyrical language. I have translated a few poems by Rabindranath Tagore, and would be delighted if you would like to read some of them! I read your biography, and found you have a lot of published works! Congratulations!
