A July Night Poem by Rhonda Baker

A July Night

Rating: 5.0

Walking on the beach's cold wet sand
Holding on to your lover hand in hand
The breeze brings ripples to the waters edge
The sun is going down, over the Earth's ledge
The stars emerge, like diamonds, on a velvet sky
As another July night just slips on by
The fireflies twinkle with their little light
As a bright crescent Moon lights up the night
