A Letter To A Friend Poem by Wyndon Villafuerte

A Letter To A Friend

Rating: 5.0

Dear friend who shall be unnamed,

I know that what I’ve said before
Was really downright nasty;
It’s just the anger and confusion talking;
I hope you can forgive me.

I also know that you are young at heart
And you don’t know any better;
You just need some time to grow;
And from your mistakes, you’ll become wiser.

I know that you have lost your way
Within the mist of deceit and lies;
But it’s because the Devil herself,
Who I still utterly despise.

As much as I’m not willing to admit,
I feel sorry for your girlfriend;
I know that she has had a rough childhood
And that she has never had a friend.

And as mad as I am at you right now
I’ve given it some thought—
You’ve been a good friend to me; I’ll never forget
The happiness you’ve brought.

And just like you, I wish her well
In life I hope she finds success;
May she denounce her wicked ways
And may she find happiness.

Sincerely,
Wyndon 'Nosebreaker' Villafuerte
