A Lighthouse
Atop the high cliff
A lighthouse stands strong and proud
Guides sea travelers
A witness to sea perils
And a ray of hope for ships.

Thank you for asking, Sir. When I put lighthouse as my topic, the poem didn't get through. I just tried poem and luckily, .PH posted it. Thank you, Sir for all your wonderful comments. I am always honored by your consistent visit to my page.
And now an attraction for tourists! A lovely beacon to an important seaside structure.
A ray of hope for ships...yes, the lighthouse is only meant for that. The poem appears so simple but carries a precious message. Excellent contemplation.
