A Lincolnshire Lad - Great Tows Poem by Christopher Tye

A Lincolnshire Lad - Great Tows

A Lincolnshire Lad - Great Tows

Great hamlet of ours,
Remote and all the more glorious for it,
England's hidden gem,
A farming tradition kept alive,
Three bungalows and a form does a hamlet make.

Tows little in size but great in heart,
Old barn's served as chapel on the Sabbath,
Wolds farmland at its finest,
Switchbacks the best little road in England.
